Furniture Mission

As climate change and biodiversity loss intensify, the furniture industry must reduce its environmental impact.

Key ingredients include reduced shipping distances, longer-lasting + repairable furniture, and multi-functionality that anticipates remote work (best case) and climate-related population displacement + housing scarcity (worst case).

Multifunctional, space-saving, and purposeful designs

The goal is to make the world better by offering something functionally new or else by offering something relatively normal that is made in a less wasteful way.

Decentralized manufacturing

International shipping of home goods is unsustainable when using fossil fuels. Regional or continental labor and lumber will reduce transportation needs and reduce exposure to increasingly volatile international trade.

Durable, Repairable Designs

No more fast furniture. The upholstery is so simple, even I can make it. The hardwood frames are more durable and repairable than particleboard.

Returns Policy

Returns accepted within 30 days for a refund on the cost of the item purchased. Customers responsible for return shipping costs. Customized products might not be refundable.
